This Dartmoor Hill Pony Herd graze on the hilltops of Dartmoor all the year. Their area is above Tavistock, and the Forest of Dartmoor.

The mostly piebald and skewbald mares run with a bigger coloured stallion, the very pretty foals usually making between 11.00 and 12.00 hands at maturity.

The foal pictured below was sold to Worcestershire, and subsequently made a leading rein Show Pony.
